The AMVE Over-Cab Protection (OCP) system is engineered for operations where enhanced occupant safety is critical. Constructed from high-strength 350 Grade steel, it provides a robust overhead barrier designed to increase protection against falling objects and site hazards.

Mounted externally above the cab, the OCP delivers an additional layer of defence beyond standard vehicle configurations. While our Internal ROPS & FOPS systems reinforce and strengthen the cab structure from within, the Over-Cab Protection system is specifically designed to increase overhead impact resistance — further safeguarding operators in high-risk environments and strengthening the vehicle’s overall safety profile.

AMVE Falling Object Protection Systems (FOPS) are designed to help protect vehicle occupants from the risks associated with falling or overhead objects in high-risk work environments. Commonly required in mining, construction and industrial applications, AMVE FOPS provide an additional layer of protection where overhead hazards are present.
